Marvel’s released the latest teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and it’s got so much Baby Groot, it’s almost too cute to handle.
The first look at the sequel came out in October, with some brief slow-motion glances at Star-Lord and the rest of the team (including Baby Groot, who is just too precious for words). Now, we’re seeing a bigger focus on the group in action, along with our first peek at Pom Klementieff’s Mantis, who looks like she’s spilling some of Star-Lord’s deep-dark secrets- much to his chagrin.
We also got a look at the Abilisk, a multi-dimensional monster we previously got a glimpse of in concept art, which the Guardians will be fighting in an epic space battle that looks so amazing, you guys. Really, all of them look big, colorful, and awesome. I just love seeing little Baby Groot screaming “I am Groot!” as he’s running away with the bomb. Pure epic bliss.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes out May 5, 2017.
